ELEAZER LLOYD (Henry Jr.,Henry Sr., David) ELEAZER LLOYD b. Died in Walker Township, Huntingdon Co., Pa. between Aug 6, 1855 and Aug. 15, 1855 when letters of administration were granted. He was living in Walker Twp. which was taken from Porter Twp. in 1827. He was road supervisor in 1842. (a) He built a sawmill in Walker Twp. on a small stream, (b) Married CATHARINE WEBB according to independent testimony of Mrs. ABNER LLOYD, a daughter-in-law, and Mr. ARNOLD LLOYD, a grandson. They said that he died quite young, of an accident (corroborated by GEORGE ROBB). His grave location is unknown, as his children were all too young to know about it at the time. He was called "Allie", pronounced A-lee, long a. CATHARINE WEBB b. ca. 1829.(c) Died Sept. 26, 1889. Buried in McConnellstown cemetery with her second husband. ISAAC GOSS.(c) Her grave in the cemetery states that Catharine wife of Isaac Goss, died Sept. 26, 1889 in her 6lst year. Africa, in his History of Huntingdon Co. stated on p. 385 that "among those who had distilleries when Walker Twp. Was formed were LLOYDS, McCONNELLS, and JAMES MOORE. In 1880 there were six buildings in the Twp., three being superior brick houses, Lloyd's built in 1875, PEIGHTAL'S built in 1871 and McConnel's in 1876." "Last will and Testament of Eleazer Lloyd, late of Walker Twp., dec'd. I. Eleazer Lloyd.... my wife CATHARINE LLOYD........ my lower farm now occupied by Alexander Simpson..... until my oldest son, HENRY LLOYD arrives at the age of 21 years... my house and four lots in McConnelstown......my upper farm on which I now reside.......my children Viz: HENRY LLOYD, RACHEL LLOYD, ABNER LLOYD, and JAMES LLOYD to be equally divided among them when they attain the age of 21 years.........I appoint ABRAHAM STATES and MARTIN ORLADY to be the executors........the 6th day of August, one thousand eight hundred and fifty five."(d) His Eliezer X Lloyd mark ISSUE As given by Mrs. Abner Lloyd and Arnold Lloyd.
