Obituary- Eleen Fay Nicholson

PARKERSBURG - Eleen Fay Nicholson, 83, of Parkersburg died Dec. 30, 2003, at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born in Miletus, W.Va., the daughter of the late Alvin S. and Edna Mae Sperry Nicholson. She had, at one time, been employed by the American Viscose and the Bureau of Public Debt and had attended the South Parkersburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Clara Mae Hurst of Lost Creek, W.Va.; her brother, Delbert Nicholson and his wife, Jean, of Parkersburg; her nephews, Bernard Hurst Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Lost Creek; David Nicholson and his wife, Cheryl, of Jan Lew, W.Va.; and Dr. Gary Nicholson and his wife, Shirley, of Kettering, Ohio; her nieces, Peggy Hurst of Lost Creek, Kristi Nicholson of Belpre and Carolyn Nicholson of Texas; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Alvin Lewis Nicholson; an infant sister, Glena Nicholson; her brother-in-law, Bernard Hurst Sr.; and a sister- in-law, Marcelene Nicholson.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with Pastor Will Neff officiating. Interment will be in the K of P Cemetery at Salem, W.Va. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the services Saturday.
