About Elena of the Kumans
OLENA / ELENE TOGOROVNA, DUCHESS OF KIEV
Secondly, in 1094 Sviatopolk married to a daughter of Tugor Khan of the Kypchaks (Cumans) -- Olena. They had four children:
1.) Anna (died 1136), married to Sviatoslav Davydych from Chernihiv, who turned into a monk upon her death.
2.) Maria, married Piotr Wlostowic, castellan of Wroclaw and Polish palatinate.
3.) Bryachislav (1104 - 1127), possibly dethroned Iaroslav as the Prince of Turov in 1118 and thence may have ruled as Prince of Turov from 1118 - 1123). (Iaroslav / Yaroslav, Prince of Volynya would have been Bryachislav's older half - brother)
4.) Izyaslav (died 1127), possibly the Prince of Turov in 1123.

Commentary -- The accuracy of this Wikipedia mini - biography / genealogy is problematic. Anna Svyatopolkovna was the second child and eldest daughter of Sviatopolk II and his first wife, the unidentified / unnamed "Bohemian Princess". Verification of the lives of sons Bryachislav and Izyaslav from other sources is notable in its absence............In contrast, the marriage of Maria to Piotr Wlostowic is verified in a wide variety of sources, sufficient to validate at least this portion of the Wikipedia mini - biography / genealogy.
