On 6/12/1903 Elijah and Hennie Holiday deeded property on Balls Fork to Kentucky Coal Land Company, book 12, Page 160, Knott Co. Ky <p></p> <p>In 1880 Perry Co. Census list a Emory Allen age 18 is living in his household</p> <p></p> <p>He was a teacher and helped organize Hindman Settlement School in Knott county, Ky---Junell Winchester Holliday</p> <p></p> <p>A Elijah Holliday active in the Bought Camp Church as mentioned in minutes of Sandlick Assoication as a messenger from the Lotts Creek Church, Sept 2 1901. I believe he to be this Elijah as he is not mentioned in any Church minutes in 1914 & 1915 etc.
