A Patriot of the American Revolution for MASSACHUSETTS with the rank of LIEUTENANT. DAR Ancestor # A043217
Served in the French and Indian War, and the Revolutionary War. Was at Concord and Cambridge.
Served in Capt. J. Baldwin's company, 15 Sep 1755 He made his way to Crown Point in the French and Indian War. On the breaking out of the Revolution, he was one of the fighting patriots and on the Lexington Alarm, 19 Apr 1775, He entered Capt. Boaz Moore's Company and marched to Concord and Cambridge.
Served as a 2nd Lieutenant, 1 Mar 1776. in the Company of Capt Joseph Sargent, in the third Continental Regiment, commanded by Col. Nathan Tyler and June 12, 1779, he was re-commissioned as a 2nd LT in the Regiment commanded by Col Josiah Whitney.
