About Eliza McCauley
On 7 July 1855 Thomas & Eliza emigrated to Australia from Ireland on board the Bucephalus. Thomas was listed as an assisted migrant under the classification of Agricultural labourer. The ship arrived off Adelaide on 13 October 1855, the passengers disembarking at Pt Adelaide on Monday 15 October 1855. After her husbands death, Eliza went to live with a daughter.
