Biography==When Elizabeth Fowler was born in 1646 in Branford, Connecticut, her father, Ambrose, was 21, and her mother, Joanna, was 24. She married Edward Barker in 1668 in New Haven, Connecticut. They had five children during their marriage. She died on April 16, 1705, in her hometown at the age of 59, and was buried there.
Notes==Elizabeth Fowler, the sixth child born to Mary (Alvord) Fowler and herhusband Ambrose, was born in Windsor, Connecticut, on 02 Dec 1656.
Although, there is a source (See Connecticut Births and Christening below) that states Elizabeth was born on 2 Dec 1656, I believe that to be incorrect. If Elizabeth was born in 1656, she would have been 12 years old at the time of her marriage. There are three sources stating that Elizabeth was born in 1646.
