Biography
Elizabeth Williams was born 14 Sep 1714.<ref>DAR (need National numberof applicant please for replicability-questionable source as her father wouldn't have served and her husband would have been quite elderly to have served either)</ref>
John Williams. ( John is occasionally referred to as "Jonathon" in some sources. But I will use "John", as that is the name that John Drayton Williams recorded in 1845 and I will continue with this tradition.). John Williams was born 26 January 1679 in Llangollen, Wales. John'swife was named Mary_____, b. 26 Sept 1684. (Mary's full name is generally accepted as Mary Keeling, the d/o of Capt. George Keeling and Ursula Fleming. If so she was born in America.) John is believed to haveimmigrated to America in the 1690's. He appears to have first settled on Queens' Creek in York County, Virginia but they later moved to Hanover County, Virginia and built their home "Studley" sometime before 1712. John and Mary Williams had eight children:

Elizabeth Williams, b. 14 Sept 1714, Hanover Co., Va., d. 12 May 1790 Granville Co., NC. Married Samuel Henderson, 14 Nov 1732, Hanover Co., Va. ::In the name of God amen,::I Elizabeth Henderson of Granville County in the State of North Carolina being in perfect health & sound mind & disposing mind & memory domake, ordain & constitute this my Last will & Testament. First I will that all my just debts which I owe be forthwith levied out of my estate & paid.::Item my will & desire is that my whole estate be equally divided between the children of Susanna Searcy deceased, Richard Henderson deceased, William Henderson deceased & Nathaniel Henderson deceased by my Executors hereafter named and I hereby appoint my son Pleasant & my grandson Archibald Henderson Executors to this my last will & Testament hereby revoking & disannuling? all other & former Wills by me heretofore made.
