Records of the Reformed Lutheran Churches of Oberndorf and Rockenhausen, Germany show the following.
Anna Elisabetha Wallacher, her siblings and parents were living in Oberndorf, Germany, where she and her siblings were baptized. Baptisms occur within days of birth.
Anna Elisabetha Wallacher was baptized 02 Jun 1719, Oberndorf, Germany, the daughter of Johan Bernhard Wallacher and Anna Maria Margretha (Lamp) Wallacher.
Sometime before 1733, the family migrated to the nearby village of Rockenhausen. Elisabetha, living in Rockenhausen, was confirmed into their church on Easter, 1733, along with her future Husband Valentin Leonhard, son of Michol Leonhard.
It is not known when Elisabetha and Valentin married, but surely before 1748. Birth records from First Reformed Church in Philadelphia show that the first two children of Elizabeth Wallacher Leonard and her husband the emigrant Valentine Leonard were:
"John Peter, son of Valentine Leonhardt and Elizabeth Wallacher, b. March 14, 1748, bapt. March 20, 1748. Sponsors: Peter Schmied, single, and Maria Eliz. Diehl, single.
Anna Barbara, daughter of Valentine Leonhard and Elizabeth Wallacher, b. October 16, 1749, bapt. October 29, 1749. Sponsors: Henry Bub [or Rub/Rupp] and wife."
Elizabeth Leonard and her family migrated to Rowan/Davidson Co, NC before 1760 where additional children were born: Michael, Valentine, Phillip, Jacob, Catharine, and Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Leonard, widow of Valentine Leonard (abt 1719 -1781) filed a relinquishment of her property on May 24, 1788.
