Elizabeth Woodson was the daughter of Riobert Woodson and Elizabeth Ferris. She was born about 1657 in Henrico county, Virginia.

Elizabeth married Wiliam Lewis, son of John Lewis and Sarah, about 1700.

William was from Goochland, Virginia, they made their home there and had 3 sons.

William died 25 December 1706. Their third child, John, was born about 1706, so Elizabeth was left with three small children to care for.

From the oral will of William Lewis 24 Dec 1706 (see document, attached):

Rest of the estate to wife, adding that the children being hers as well as his, he knew she would do as well for them as he would.

Elizabeth Woodson, daughter of Robert Woodson (son of Dr. John Woodson) and his wife Elizabeth, daugher of Richard Ferris, of "Curles," in Henrico county.
