This Indenture made this second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three between Ann Dealy of the county of Prince Wm. in the state of Virginia of the one part and Eleasabeth Petty of the county and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Ann Dealy for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which she beareth to her daughter Eleasabeth petty have and by these presents have given granted assigned certified and confirmed unto the said Eleasabeth petty her heirs or assines one Negro girl child named Nell aged three years and all the estate right title intrests property claim and demand whatsoever of her the said Ann Dealy of in or to the said negro girl named Nell to have and to hold the said negro girl named Nell hereby given granted and conveyed or ment mentioned or intended to be given granted and conveyed unto the said Elisabeth petty her heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoff of her the said Eleasabeth petty her heirs and assigns forever and the said Ann Dealy for herself her heirs Executors & admors doth covenant promis to and with the said Elisabeth petty her heirs and assines by these presents that she the said Elizabeth petty Eleasibeth petty her heirs and assines shall and Carefully may from henceforth forever hereafter peaceably quietly have hold occupy demand and possess the said Negro girl named Nell freely and clearly of and from any person or persons claiming or to claim either in law or equity by or from or under her the said Ann Dealy her heirs or by from or under any other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said Ann Dealy hereunto set her hand and seal the day and date above written.
