Elizabeth married Anthony Shomo (1756-1812) on 8 Apr 1785 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Anthony was the son of Joseph Chaumontet Shomo (1723-1786) and Anna Maria (Fricker) Shomo (1728-1765).
Anthony and Elizabeth Shomo were the parents of the following known children: John A., Joseph, Andrew, Daniel L. Mary Ann and William Elone Shomo.
Elizbeth's husband, Anthony served in the Revolutionary War Served as an Ensign on the PA. line. Anthony's and Elizabeth's son, Daniel served in the War of 1812. Any lady who can prove her descendancy from Anthony can become a member of the DAR. A note on ancestry.com reads: Anthony was an officer in the Revolution War. He entered the Berks County Militia on May 25, 1778 and became a Lieutenant on May 27, 1780 with the 8th CO, 4th Batallion under Capt. Umpenhacker. Anthony was educated in English and spoke German. His 66 acre estate was eventually sold but is still in use as a resident---logs and weatherboard construction, 200 years old.
Elizabeth died on Dec. 22, 1842 in New Market, Shenandoah County, Virginia, United States and is buried close to her husband,
