Indenture made November 1, 1779; Samuel Snowden of PGCo and John Snowden of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, ironmasters in consideration of 200 pounds sterling money paid by Thomas Duvall, farmer of Anne Arundel County, Maryland has sold a tract called "Tylers Range" containing 200 acres and beginning at two bounded white oaks standing on a fork of the northwest branch of the Northeast Branch of Potomack River that runs by Thomas Sprigg's quarter. Signed Samuel Snowden, John Snowden in the presence of and acknowledged before Thomas Macgill, James Beck and at the same time Elizabeth Snowden w/o Samuel Snowden relinquished her right of dower
