Edwin Winship married, second, Elizabeth Parke before 1652 in Cambridge. A catalog of Cambridge church members was written in January of 1658/9; included are "Edward Windship and Elizabeth his wife, in full communion. Also included are children by Edward's former wife Jane deceased, who were also in full communion, they are: Sarah, Mary, Ephraim, Johannah Windship.
The children of Edward and Elizabeth named in the catalog are: Elizabeth, Edward, Abigaill, Samuel Windship. Elizabeth died in Cambridge, 1690.
Their children were:
- Elizabeth, b. April 25, 1652. m. at Watertown on Nov. 18, 1673 to Joseph Sherman, son of John Sherman Died Sept. 16, 1662.
- Edward, b. March 3, 1654. Married Rebecca Barsham, daughter of William Barsham, March 4, 1683
- Abigail, b. Feb. 13, 1656. Married William Russell, March 18, 1682/3.
- Samuel, b. Oct. 24, 1658. Died June 18, 1696[citation needed]. Married Mary Poulter April 12, 1687.
- Joseph, b. June 21, 1661. Died Sept. 15, 1765. Married Jane Harrington on November 24, 1687 at Watertown.
- Margery, b. Dec. 10, 1664. Married at Cambridge to John Dixon May 12, 1687.
- Mehitable, b. Nov. 14, 1667, baptized on the 17th. She was living at the drafting of her mother's will on October 18, 1689.
His daughter was for many years a school teacher and the following odd epitaph appears upon her gravestone: “This good dame no longer school must keep, , Which given us cause or children's sake to weep.“"
Edward Winship died at Cambridge on December 2, 1688 "aged about 76 years." His will, dated September 16, 1685 and proved October 1, 1689, mentions his wife, sons Ephraim, Edward, Samuel, Joseph, Mary, Elisabeth, Abigail, Margery, Joanna, Mehetabel, grandson Edward Winship. The inventory taken December 21, 1688 totaled L640 12s. 9d.
Elizabeth, Edward's wife made her will on October 18, 1689 and it was proved October 7, 1690. Her inventory, taken October 4, 1690 was untotalled, with L102 real estate: "3 acres of salt marsh," L21; "six acres of land in Charlstowne Field," L18; "part of a farm," L3 and "out lands," L60.
