About Elizabeth Marsh

Biography

Elizabeth Parrat (variously spelled) was born in 1640. Her birth date was written as third month ye first 1640, which is 01 May 1640 O.S. March was the 1st month according to the Julian calendar. She was the daughter of Francis Parrat and Elizabeth Northend.[1]

Samuel Worcester (1629-1681), son of William Worcester and Sarah, married Elizabeth Parrat (various spellings exist) of Rowley, Massachusetts, daughter of Francis, on 29 November 1659. [2]. He came from England with his father to Salisbury, Massachusetts.

William was found dead in the middle of the road on the morning of 21 Feb 1681.

She married Onesiphorus Marsh on October 29, 1686 at Haverhill.[3]

The commissioners' division of the Estate of "Samuel Worster, late of Bradford, and of his wife Elizabeth, also deceased," gives, "in value” as follows:—to "William, eldest son, £91, 18s., 8d. ; to Susannah. £10, 8s., 5d. ; to Timothy, Ebenezer, Dorothy, John and Joseph, each £20, 16s., lOd. ; to Elizabeth, £10, Ss., 5d. ; to Francis,, £70, 16s., l0d. Total, £287, 11s., 6d. The homestead farm was in 1856 owned by Mr. Wm. Balch.[1]
