About Ella Weachter
Lancaster newspaper clipping, unknown date: "Mrs. Grant Weachter Mrs. Ella Weachter, eighty-seven, widow of Grant J. Weachter, former resident of Manheim, died Tuesday at 9:3- p.m. at the Elmhurst Rest Home, Lititz R2, after an illness of five years.
A daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Zwalley Stark, she was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Rothsville.
Surviving are two daughters, Beulah, wife of David Kuhns, and Myrtle, wife of Paul Risser, both of Lancaster; also three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Mary Eichelberger and Mrs. Lizzie Weachter, both of Rothsville; Mrs. Hattie Garner and William Stark, both of Lititz RD."
--- For some reason, Ella's death certificate states that she was to be buried in Rothsville Lutheran Cemetery. This is incorrect according to cemetery records, and her gravestone is at Manheim Fairview Cemetery---Denise Witwer Lahr
