About Emanuel Gingrich
Son of Jacob and Susan Farrell Gingrich. He was one of eleven children.
He married Lena Gregory December 31, 1930. After she died, he married Helen Shepherd Cays in March of 1964.
He lived on a farm for fifty years, and moved to Pontiac in 1940. He was a retired farmer. His only surviving sister was Susan Gourley of Lincoln, Nebraska.
He was a member and past noble grand of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows and member and past chief patriarch of the Vermilion Encampment.--Extracted from The Pantagraph, Oct. 12, 1978, Page 2.
