EMANUEL ["EMAN"] [EDMORE] TAUBER, b. Privetice, House No. 8, 12 Jan 1863 [19 Jun 1861 or 1862?], son of Ignaz and Marie (Buchbinder) Tauber, d. in Chicago, 20 Feb 1920, age 57. His death record indicates that he was b. in Bohemia on “19 Jun 1861”, that he was the son of Ignatz Tauber, b. Bohemia, and Mary (Buchbinder), b. Bohemia, and that he died of chronic myocarditis on 20 Feb 1920, age 58 years. He had been a resident of Chicago for 42 years prior to his death, was a commission merchant residing at 1145 No. Leavitt, Ward 4, Chicago, and that he was buried at Free Sons. He became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. on 1 Nov 1884, renouncing his former allegiance to Austria.
