About Emma Margaret Bowman
OBITUARY : MRS. EMMA SEIBERT BOWMAN, wife of J. W. E. Bowman, died at her home, Roessner avenue, Halfway, at 2 a.m., Sunday, after a lingering illness, aged 65.
Born and reared near Cearfoss, she was the daughter of Lewis E. and Lillie (Cearfoss) Seibert.
Surviving, besides husband, are daughters, Miss Edna N., Carlisle, Pa., Mrs. John McLaughlin, Bryn Mawr, Pa., Mrs. Fern Race, at home, Mrs. Clenard McCubbin, Hagerstown, Mrs. George Corvallis, Baltimore, Mrs. William Mentzer, Hagerstown, Mrs. Joseph Cottrell, Williamspon; sons, Robert S., Halfway, Max, overseas, John, Hagerstown; sister, Mrs. C. W. Fuller, Hagerstown; brothers, Max G. and William C. Seibert, both of Hagerstown; and 13 grandchildren.
The body was removed to the funeral home of A. K, Coffman, where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. Dr. J. Edward Harms officiating, assisted by Rev. Paul Holdcraft. Interment in Rest Haven cemetery.
