Erik Harvardsson, i Stugubyn

Erik Harvardsson, born approximately around 1465, lived in Stugun parish, Jämtland. His YDNA haplogroup has been verified to be I-Y24468 (=I1a2a1a1d1a1a2c10a2a) ackording to the "Stugusläkten" FTDNA project results from 2018-02-19. DNA tests on now living descendants (along strict male lines) has verified this for all of the following of his sons:

• Bengt (born about 1496)
• Ivar (born around 1500)
• Andulf (born around1503, newly discovered)
• Olof (born around 1504)
• Halvard d.y. (born around 1505, newly discovered).

Traditionally, Erik Harvardsson is considered to be part of the medieval family Stugusläkten, and agntatic descendant of Gjurd Bodakarl. but this has not been confirmed by DNA tests.

Stugusläkten anses traditionellt omfatta ättlingar till Gjurd Bodakarl, innehavare (1278-1296) av själastugan, som givet byn Stugun dess namn. Den består av flera osäkra led.
