Ernest was the last child of Francis Marion Reagan and Eliza Jane Heath Reagan. He had a good attitude on life. Early, he did logging, driving oxen, then farmed. He went to Calif. where he bought a home and lived a little easier life. He was successful in Calif, helped many people and was said to be a good Christian man devoted to his family. He and Mammie raised Ella D. Brownell Reagan as their child.
