King of Greate Brittain France and Ireland and Between WM; LAMPTON of Hanover Parish and HESTER his Wife in ye County of Richmond, Gent., of ye one part and FRANCIS MARTIN of OVERWHARTON Parish in ye County of STAFFORD, Planter, of ye other part; Wittnesseth that WM. LAMPTON and HESTER his Wife for ye sum of Five shillings Sterling to him in hand paid by FRANCIS MARTTIN by these presents bargain and sell unto FRANCIS MARTTIN and assigns a parcel of land being part of a hundred acres of land lying upon JINGOTEAGUE in St. Marys Parish in County of Richmond being a peace of Land that WM. I, Esther Lampton, wife of Wm Lampton of King George County, Virginia, have appointed my trusty friend, Gustavus Brown of CC, Gentleman, to be my lawful attorney in making over a certain tract of land in CC called Lampton, containing 150 acres, conveyed from my husband, Wm.
