Eunice Smith

Eunice,( Churchill ) Smith was the Fourth born of eleven children of William & Keturah Churchill. She was born Dec. 27, 1808 in Harwinton, Ct. She married Jeremiah "Jerry" Smith In Harwinton June 26, 1831,when she was 23 years old. She died young at age 36 leaving three small children aged twelve, nine & one.

    Her husband would remarry ( Jane ? ) and remove to Sterling, Wisconsin. She is buried in Harwinton's South Cemetery a few feet from her elder brother David M. Churchill

2. Emma Jane Smith; m. Henry Riggs

3. Clark Smith, who enlisted in the army in the Civil War, and died there in Virginia.Residing in Sterling, Wisconsin at the time of enlistment. Enlisted on December 29, 1863 as a Private in the 6th Wisconsin Infantry, Company I. Wounded on May 10, 1864 at Laurel Hill, Virginia.
