Keturah ( Morse) Churchill was born Feb 20th 1785 in Northfield, Litchfield Conn.

She was the fourth born, of five. Three elder brothers Ephraim Hall Morse ( 1778-1859 Caleb Morse ( 1783-1853 ) Miles Morse ( 1782-1847 ) and one younger sister Eunice ( Morse ) Hall ( 1791-1885 ) m. Horace Hall
Keturah married William Churchill in Litchfield, just shy of her 16th birthday. He was born in MIlford, Ct and removed to Northfield , Conn. They had 13 children together during their 28 year marriage. He died young ( 47 years old ) , Sept 10th 1828. At this time, Her four eldest children ( Sally, David, Almira & Eunice ), aged 20y - 26y, were married or in the case of Sally...nearly married.
That would leave Ketruah a 43 year old window, with seven surviving children. Her son Samuel died as a baby ten years prior in 1818. According to ( 6/23/1850 ) census, She lived with her daughter Chloe. Ten years latter, according to census ( 6/27/1860 ) she was 75 years old living with her eldest daughter, 58 year old Sally Hine ( widow of Sylvester Hine ), her 28 year old grandson Albert Hine ( listed as a Farmer / Laborer ) & 39 year old Maria Churchill.
She died November 2nd 1868 in Harwinton.
