To all to whom these presents shall come I Eurodica Council of the County of Edgcomb and State of North Carolina Send Greeting Know ye that I the said Eurodica Council for and in consideration of the the Natural Love and affection which I have and do bare unto my beloved grand children including all the hers [heirs] of Elizabeth Buntin Decd of the same County and State aforesaid and for Divers others good Causes and Consideration me hereunto moving have given and granted and by these presents do give grant unto my grand children the sum of one hundred and forty Dollars to be paid in Notes and at my Death the sum of thirty Dollars more to them to have and hold and to enjoy the said property to the Said hers [heirs} and there[sic] Exectors and [?] to the only use am behoof to them the said hers are [?] for ever and I the said Eurodica Council shall and well warrant and defend the Said property unto the said above mentioned hers for ever for which I Bind my self my hers and Exetors and [?]sings for ever in witness whareof I have hereunto set my hand and seal.

Know all Men by these presents that I Wilie Councill Admr to Dicy Councill Decd of the County and State aforesaid for and In consideration of the Sum of Two hundred and fifty one dollars and Seventy five cents Lawfull money of this State to me in hand paid by [page 407] John Hopkins of the County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof I the said Willie Councill ad. do hereby acknowledge that on the 22nd day of December one Thousand Eight hundred and twenty eight did put up and sell at the highest bidder one negro woman named Vilet aged about Thirty five years and child named Kedsir[?] aged about one year and four months and the said John Hopkins being the last and best bidder and I the said Wilie Councill administrator do warrant and forever defend the right and Title and claim of said negroes free and clear fromthe Lawfull claim of any person or persons whatsoever unto the said John Hopkins and his heirs admrs. Executors [?] for ever. In witness whereof I the said Wilie Council have hereunto set my hands and seal 22nd day of December 1828.

Kno All men by these presents that I Willie Councill admr to the Estate of Dicy Councill Decd at the County & state afore said after Advertising agreeable to law did on the twenty second day of December in the year of our Lord one housand Eight hundred & Twenty Eight sit up at Bublick Sale on A credit of six months for a Division between the heirs of said Dicy Councill Decd two Negro girls by the name of Janell & Rose to John Mooring at the County & state Afore said being the last Bidder the said Negroes was struck of to him for Two hundred & seventy dollars & fifty cents for which I the said Councill have Rcvd Payment & I the said Councill Admr do for my self my heirs Executors Admr & Assigns so far as I am Autherise as admr & no further warrant & Defend the Right & title of the said girls to the said John Mooring to him his heirs Executor Admr & Assigns for Ever in witness here of I set my hand & seal this 15th January 1829.
