About Fannie May Carrouth

The 1900 census for Stubbs & Union twnshps, Independence Co. Ark shows a Fannie Nelson (b. oct 1882) living with Moses Nelson family shown as daughter-in-law and as a widow. Apparenlty, Fannie and John Nelson married in 1898 and he died within the next two years. Judging from the other errors in census reporting, it is not a stretch to imagine getting birth months of Oct and Dec mixed.

Married to MT Pence by J. F. Baxter, Christian Preacher.

In the 1910 Census, Fannie shows both parents born in Missouri
