Fhilippus "Flip" Jansen (1926 - 1990)

Brief overview:

Flip (64), was attacked by three men on his farm outside Witbank. He was dealt numerous blows against the head with a panga. He managed to crawl to the verandah where he succumbed to his injuries. His wile Anna-Maria (60), who rushed to his side, was also attacked a with a panga and was locked up. She, however, managed to free herself and went to a neighbouring farm to get help. A firearm, which had been stolen by the murderers, was retrieved when the men were arrested.
