First Wife of Johannes Wilhelm Bast

It has been suggested that the first wife of Johannes was Mary KLIEN, with a marriage date between 1738 & 1739. I have seen no documentation for this marriage but is appears safe to assume that William was a son this union with an unknown wife.

Another point of view: There is no proof that Mary Klein/Cline is the first wife of Johannes Bast/Bost except there is one note in " The History of Grace Lutheran Church 1777 to 1899" by col. George M. Yoder that makes a reference to " William Bost whose mother was Bostian Cline's daughter" Mary Harkey Russell
