Florence Maud, a daughter to Ernest Atkins and Louisa Pepper, had nine siblings as follows: Winifred Gertrude, Ernest junior, Keith, Charles Cameron, Arthur Ronald, Madeline, Thelma Grace, Eugenia and Marion Ella Louisa (known as Auntie Poppy). A big happy family for many years until they all passed away.
In the year 1881, she was counted newly born, in a census for Bromley, Kent, England, living at 33 Wharton Road, with her parents, her sister Marion and Christopher Pepper, an uncle of hers.
She died at 90 years of age, home duties by occupation, having 20 Regent street, Dee Why, New South Wales, as her last place of residence. Her funeral took place on October 6 (there must be en error) 1971, officiating Reverend Shand as Minister of the Church of England.
