Foster H. Keeney

Foster is the oldest grave in the Harless Cemetery. His son-in-law, Leroy Harless, owned the property at the time of his death. When Leroy's son-in-law, D. Watt Childress purchased the farm, he also took over the care of the cemetery. A small section was marked off for persons living in the Alum Creek area that did not have a final resting place. The immediate family cemetery, at one time, was separated with an wrought iron fence.
