Mrs. Jos. Meinhart Dead

Mrs. Jos. Meinhart died at her home at Island Grove last Thursday after an illness of four weeks. She was only 26 years of age at the time of her death and was a very popular young matron of the community. She won a large circle of friends by her pleasant ways and Christian spirit The deceased was born on a farm north of Effingham and later moved to Island Grove with her parents, Jos. Cohorst and wife. Here she was united in marriage about four years ago to Jos. Meinhart. Two children were born to the union, one being four weeks old at the time of her death. Besides her two children she leaves a husband, parents and many other relatives.

The funeral services took place from the Catholic Church at the Grove at 2; o'clock New Year's Day. A large number of sorrowing friends attended.

Death Cause: Complications from child birth
