Frank Anhalt of Kiel Summoned after an Illness. Kiel. - Frank Anhalt, 70, died at St. Nicholas hospital, Sheboygan, early Sunday morning after a 10-day illness. The son of the late John and Barbara (Knier) Anhalt, he was born Oct. 10, 1871, near Millhome, and grew to manhood there. On Jan. 10, 1899, he was married to Anna Altenberger of Ada in the St. Peter and Paul church at Kiel, by the Rev. Father Michael Schmitz. He and his wife lived in Kiel for four years before moving to a farm east of the city. After living there for 37 years, in 1939 they sold the farm to their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bolz, moving back to Kiel. His wife died Jan. 5 of this year. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Eleanor) Bolz, near Kiel, and Mrs. John (Mary) Stauber of St. Nazianz; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Peter and Joseph Anhalt of St. Nazianz and Donald Anhalt of Plymouth; seven sisters, Mrs. Alex Gerhard, Mrs. Edward Schad and Mrs. Isadore Meyer, all of St. Nazianz; Mrs. John Gusse of Crystal Lake, Mrs. John Behrmke of Plymouth, Mrs. Charles Mahloch of Brillion, an Mrs. Fred Altenberger of Sheboygan.
