Was associated with father in department store business in Denver until 1901; came to St. Louis, 1901, as superintendent Famous Shoe & Clothing Co. (now Famous Barr Co.), and still continues as superintendent; also president Associated Retailers' Suburban Delivery Co. Jewish religion. Clubs: Columbian, Westwood Country.

Recreations: motoring and swimming. Office: 519 Washington Ave. Residence: 4950 McPherson Ave.
