Note: A Freegift Stout was on the Expedition with Zebulon Pike in 1806. Zebulon was Freegift's Aunt Sarah's great-great-grandson, but we have not found any information linking the Freegift Stout on Zebulon Pike's expedition to the Freegift Stout, or his son, Freegift Stout, Jr.

Biography
Freegift Stout, son of David and Rebecca Ashton Stout, was born 1693, died before August 2 1769 and is buried in the Stout-Manners Cemetery.[1]The will was written June 9 1763, two codicils added dated (1) May 18 1766, (2) July 10 1768 and proved August 2 1769.[2] He married Mary Higgins, daughter of Jediah and Mary Newbold Higgins, born January 24 1698 and died April 11, 1773, and they lived in Clover Hill, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.[3]
