Biography ==David Stout, son of Richard I and Penelope Kent Van Princin Stout, born 1667 in Middletown, Monmouth County, NJ. They first settled on Hop River and about 1725 moved to Amwell Township then sold everything and moved there before the death of his son James Stout. Of their descendants Caleb, son of James, and Abner and Job, sons of Joseph emigrated to Western Virginia. Following is research that establishes that Sarah Stout (born Parker was not a wife of David Stout, son of Richard and Penelope Stout.and that Penelope Falkinburg (born Stout) was not either with sources that support Wikitree standards.
- Wife: Sarah Stout (born Parker)1. All profiles for the Sarah Parkers in wikitree in the time period 1667 +/- 5 yr were born in Masschusetts. 2. His great (2) grandson, Nathan Stout had written on one side of histombstone his ancestral line. Only Rebecca Ashton is named as David's wife.
