Friedrich Maria Erzherzog von Österreich was born on 4 June 1856 at Gross-Seelowitz, Morav.2,3 He was the son of Karl Ferdinand Erzherzog von Österreich and Elizabeth Franziska Maria Erzherzogin von Österreich.1 He married Isabelle Hedwig Franziska Natalie Prinzessin von Croÿ, daughter of Rudolf Maximilian Konstantin Herzog von Croÿ and Natalie de Ligne, Princesse de Ligne, on 8 October 1878 at Château de l'Hermitage, Condé-sur-l'Escaut, France.2,3 He died on 30 December 1936 at age 80 at Ungarisch-Altenburg, Hungary.2
