Maria Christina Erzherzogin von Österreich was born on 17 November 1879 at Cracow, Poland.2 She was the daughter of Friedrich Maria Erzherzog von Österreich and Isabelle Hedwig Franziska Natalie Prinzessin von Croÿ.3 She married Emanuel Alfred Leopold Franz Erbprinz zu Salm-Salm, son of Alfred XII Fürst zu Salm-Salm and Rosa Margaretha Karolina Isabella Gräfin von Lützow, on 10 May 1902 at Vienna, Austria.2 She died on 6 August 1962 at age 82 at Anhalt.2

    She was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. She was given the name of Maria Christina Isabelle Natalie at birth.2 She gained the title of Erzherzogin von Österreich (styled as HI&RH Archduchess of Austria).
