Immigrated in 1637 to Massachusetts from Ipswich, England as a boy with his father, but returned frequently for business trips. His father returned to England permanently in 1655. George Jr. settled in Watertown and built the Old Parkhurst Family Farm at Beaver Brook. He died on the family farm and was buried there. No markers remain.
George, Jr. was the oldest surviving son of George Parkhurst and Phebe Leete. He came as a boy to Watertown with his father and siblings and remained in Watertown the rest of his life, even when his father returned to England. He settled on the old Parkhurst farm in a part of Watertown that later became part of Waltham. His farm was located on the east side of Beaver Brook and on the north side of the old county road. The house stood a few rods east of the cottage of Thomas Page.
