About George Weir Reid, Jr.
The son of George W. Reid, Sr. and Charlotte Emmanuel, born in Hughestown, he resided most of his life in West Pittston, where he operated the Messick Fish Store, retiring in 1969. Mr. Reid was a member of United Methodist Church, Pittston. He was the husband of Ethel Mae Messick and their children are Edward Thomas Reid, Betsy Reid Augustine and Marianna Reid Harding Hyndman. After the death of Ethel he next married Margaret Berlew.
