On Tuesday, May 16, 1961, at the residence of her sister, 2340 S Street, NW, GERTRUDE BOLLING GALT. She is survived by a sister, a nephew and five nieces. Services and interment private.

Mrs. Galt, SIster of Mrs. Wilson Gertrude Bolling Galt, sister of Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, died Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Wilson at 2340 S ST., NW. Mrs. Galt, who died on her 98th birthday, was a frequent visitor to the White House during the Wilson administration. For many years she was a member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church and during World War I, served with the Red Cross.
In 1885 the former Gertrude Bolling, married Alexander Hunter Galt, the cousin of Norman Galt, Mrs. Wilson's first husband. Alexander Galt died in 1935. Her son, Alexander Bolling Galt, died several years ago. For the last years of her life, Mrs. Galt lived in retirement with Mrs. Wilson. Most of her time was spent reading, watching television or being visited by friends. Only her sister, Edith, survives.
