Miss Grace Ever ist and Fred W.
Randall were married at the home of the
brides' parents Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Everist,
Thursday evening at 8:30, by the Rev. Yost.
The bride was gowned in lavender si lk
messaline trimmed with gold, and carried a
bouquet of white roses and lilies of the
valley. The bridal couple stood under a
wh i t e we d d i n g b e l l a n d t h e h o u s e
decorat ions were whi te and green. The
ceremony was witnessed by relatives of the
br idal couple and a few close f r iends .
Following the ceremony a delicious wedding
supper was spread.
The bride is one of Randolph's most
estimable young ladies. For two years or
more she was employed in the Times office
and her faithfulness to duty and her quick
perception in this position are qualities that,
combined with other qualities of mind and
heart, are an earnest of the happy married
life that her friends heartily wish her.
The groom is the senior member of
the firm of Randall Bros., who are making a
success of the automobile livery and repair
business. He is a capable and painstaking
business man, and has a host of friends who
will wish himself and his bride the best that
life holds.

YOUNG WIFE CALLED
Mrs. Fred Randall Answers the Call
of Death
WAS VERY ILL FOR TWO WEEKS
Mrs. Fred W. Randall passed away at
Creighton last Saturday aged 29 years. After
the birth of her baby daughter on May 15, she
was taken very ser iously i l l wi th acute
peritonitis and for days hovered between life
and death, with little hope for recovery. It was
thought she was gaming at one time but her
frail body could not support the trial to which
i t was subjected and she passed away
peacefully.
Grace Emi ly Ever ist was born in
Marshall county, la., June 18, 1888, and died
June 2, 1917. At the age of 13 she came with
her parents to Randolph and has lived here
practically all her life since that time. She
received her education in our schools and
learned to set type in the Times office and for
a few years was an employe that was most
highly thought of by this editor. December 23,
1910, she was married to Fred W. Randall,
lived here for a while, moved to Orchard for a
y e a r o r s o a n d t h i s s p r i n g mo v e d t o
Creighton.
Grace was a quiet, capable little lady
and did her ful l duty to the children she
leaves and who are too small to realize that
a sweet little mother has left them forever.
She leaves her husband and three little boys
and the baby girl, also her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. John W. Everist, and two brothers, Oph
Ever ist of Clemons, Iowa, and Sherman
Everist of O'Neill.
The funeral was held at the home of
her parents here Thursday afternoon and her
body tenderly laid away in the Randolph
cemetery.
