resident of Clemons community, died

at the home of his daughter, Mrs.

Anthony, Friday morning. He had

been in fail ing health for several

years.

BORN IN Warren, County

Ohio, Feb. 27, 1880, he came with

his family to Iowa in 1882 and on

May 26. 1898 near Clemons was

married to Hattie Clemons and they

farmed most of their married life in

the Clemons community. Preceding

him in death were his wife in 1955,

and a sister.

grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren

and one brother, J. S. Everist of

South Bend, Ind.

Services wi l l be f rom the

Clemons Congregational Christian

Church at 2 p. m., Tuesday. Burial

will be in the Clemons cemetery.

Friends may call at the Estel-Perrin

Funeral Home.
