Gregory Glascock was the son of Thomas Glascock and Sarah Stone. He was christened on 10 March 1700 in North Farnham Parish in Richmond County in the Colony of Virginia.[1]
There is a story about Gregory and his father, Thomas Glascock, in the book:
On the Banks of the Rappahannock: A Captivating Story of Romance and Mystery in Colonial Virginia (Google eBook), by John Harding Peach, published 2011.
pages 81-86
It basically says Thomas Glascock was involved in a murder, and says Gregory Glascock was an accessory to murder. The story is worth reading from the genealogical standpoint, as it quotes newspaper articles, and provides ancestors and descendants of the Glascock family.
BIRTH
Gregory probably was not christened on his day of birth, but it is assumed to be close enough that it is now used as his day of birth.
