About Hannah Palmer
Edward Palmer and Hannah Bailey married on 4 February 1790 at Newcastle, both being of Pownalborough in their marriage intentions on 16 January 1790. On 23 February 1816, Edward and Hannah Palmer released to their brother-in-law James Marr, "...one undivided fifth part of all the estate which was of Richard Bayley late of said Alna, Gentleman, deceased, in the right of the said Hannah, daughter and one of the heirs of the said Richard ..." (Linc. Co. Deeds 92:114) Hannah was a member of the Alna-Newcastle Baptist Church. Her death was noted in the Church records.

Samuel Palmer, b.17 June 1790, m. Ruth Moody, d.October 1870 in Whitefield, Maine.
Sarah Palmer, b. 7 April 1803, m. Lewis Mayers, d. 10 April 1885 at Medfield, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. Note: What is left of this stone is next to her husband, Edward Palmer.
