Hannah Crocker was born October 3, 1770, the daughter of Daniel Crocker and Abigail Rogers of Yarmouth NS[1] [2]

On April 28, 1791, she married Ezekiel Ellis, the son of Eleazor and Hannah Ellis of Yarmouth, Nova Scotiar[3], daughter of Daniel Crocker, and they had children[4] [2] , including:

Ezekiel Ellis II, born April 12, 1790, who married Zilpha Kinney, daughter of John Kinney, and who died in 1830
Hannah Ellis, born July 23, 1793, who married Daniel Carney, and who died circa 1822[5]
Anna, born November 5, 1794, who died January 15, 1797[6]
Abigail, born August 31, 1796, who married William Bridgeo[7]
In November 1796, Captain Ezekiel Ellis with his crew and cargo were returning to Chebogue from Boston in his 31 ton schooner Fox when they were lost at sea.[8]

Hannah then married
John Rogers, son of Cornelius Rogers [2], and their children included:

John, born January 2, 1802; who married Melinda Kinney, daughter of John Kinney; and then married Maria Knowles on January 2, 1828; then married Lydia Ring, daughter of Lemuel Ring; and then married Chloe Power of January 5, 1854[9]
Ruth, born May 24, 1803, who married John McConnell, son of David McConnell
James, born February 3, 1805, who married Dorcas Rogers, daughter of Cornelius Rogers 2nd
Abel, born October 12, 1806 (who 'went abroad')
Samuel, born August 16, 1808.

To date, no record of Hannah's death has been found, but her husband married again. He died in 1850, so she died before that date.
