Harlan Alexander Reynolds was born April 8, 1930 in Scranton, Eastland County, Texas, son of Eugene Wendel Reynolds and Nadine Jewel (Speegle) Reynolds.

He served in the U.S. Army.

On October 10, 2002, Harlan A. Reynolds, age 72, died in Midland with burial in the Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, Midland County, Texas. His grave marker has the inscription, "Beloved Husband Father and Grandfather".
