Nancy Pearl (Reynolds) Cross (1937-2013)

Nancy Pearl Cross was born March 24, 1937, in Scranton, Texas, the daughter of Eugene and Nadine Reynolds. She went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2013.

Nancy had lived in Roscoe, Texas and moved to Stanton, Texas, where she met Harvey Glenn Cross. They soon became sweethearts. Nancy married the love of her life and best friend, Harvey Glenn Cross on December 24, 1953 in Sweetwater, Texas. Nancy became the proud mother to Wesley Cross on August 20, 1961 and Matthew Cross on December 16, 1962. Nancy also enjoyed working with her husband as the bookkeeper of Cross Roofing.

Nancy was a devoted Grandmother to her 5 grandsons, Roper, Matthew, Joshua, Chance and Cody. She was also the Great-Grandmother to Oakley. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Nadine Reynolds, Brothers Jimmy, Billy, and Harlan Reynolds.

Nancy's family remaining includes her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Glenn Cross, her Sons, Wesley and wife, Carmen Cross, of Midland Texas, Matthew and wife, Iva Cross, of Austin Texas. Other family includes her Grandsons, Roper Cross of Midland Texas, Matthew Cross of Richardson Texas, Joshua Cross of Cibolo Texas, Chance and wife Kristen Cross of Midland Texas, and Cody Cross of Midland Texas, and ,also, by her Great Grandson, Oakley Cross of Midland, Texas.

The family received visitors at Nalley Pickle and Welch on Wednesday, March 13, from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral services were held on Thursday March 14th at Hillcrest Baptist Church at 11:00am with Brother James Salisbury and Brother Carl Anderson presiding. Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, Midland County, Texas.
