Research Notes

Or she was born about 1705. (She was married about 1725, and her first child was born about 1726.) This is a shot in the dark, but looking through Maryland birth/marriage record (at familysearch.org), there is a marriage who could possibly be her parents: Richard Greene & Margery (Margaret?) Standbridge, m Apr 17, 1704, St. James Parish, Anne Arundel County, MD [2] (This is the earliest Green man in the records. Anne Arundel County is next to Baltimore, and Harriet's 3rd child, Benjamin was born in Anne Arundel. There were other Green families there. But she didn't name a son Richard.) There was no birth record for Harriet there. [Thoughts by Mary Jo Freeman, Feb 12, 2019]
