She was the second wife of Henry Alvah Strong, the co-founder & first President of Eastman-Kodak. Strong was her second husband. Her first was Lester Burchard Lockwood, from whom she was divorced in 1897. In 1905 she married Strong, staying with him until his death in 1919, afterwards becoming a well-known philanthropist.
