Hawise de Newmarch, Heiress of Cadbury

Hawise of Newmarch first married John de Botreaux in 1218; she next married our ancestor Nicholas de Moels, Seneschal of Gascony, circa 1230.

Hawise was our ancestor through two distinct descent lines--through her daughter Maud and through her son Roger, each of whom was independently our ancestor.

Nicholas de Moels married, in or after 1230, Hawise, widow of John de Botreaux (whom she married in 1218), and younger daughter and coheir of James de Newmarch (de Neufmarché), of Cadbury, &c. Somerset. She apparently was living in 1244. He probably died in or shortly after 1264, and was certainly dead before Easter 1271.
